GENERAL ASPECTS
The website www.igift.ro is exclusively owned by Altanet SRL, hereinafter referred to as ALTANET. Accessing this website or any part of it implies your tacit agreement with the following terms and conditions. The use and order agreement has legal effects between you and ALTANET. Acceptance is considered tacit and unconditional.
We reserve the right to make changes to the content, format, layout, prices, products without prior notice to the Customers/Visitors. These clauses do not apply to the websites referred to or linked to on the www.igift.ro site, and ALTANET is not responsible for the content of these third-party websites. The presentation of internet links belonging to others may be made for informational or advertising purposes. www.igift.ro is a website intended for presenting our products, as well as facilitating their commercial sale electronically or via telephone orders.
ALTANET reserves the right to update these terms and conditions without prior notification to the users of this site, with changes becoming effective as soon as they are published on the site. It is the responsibility of Customers and Visitors to periodically check the clauses included in these terms and conditions.
USAGE OF THE WEBSITE www.igift.ro
1. PLACING ORDERS
Orders can be placed online or by phone.
a) Online Orders
Any interested person can place an order by filling out the order form in the special section provided for this purpose. This method is preferred because the products and quantities are clearly and securely identified, and you have constant access to place such an order, as the ordering process is available 24/7. Each person must register using accurate, correct, and valid data, filling in all the required fields.
If the billing address is different from the delivery address, this must be explicitly mentioned. Our virtual store uses a shopping cart. The customer is requested to carefully verify the products and quantities displayed in the cart, as these represent the final order. After verification, the customer must click the "Complete Order" button.
b) Phone Orders
For phone orders, you can call the phone number 004 0351 439 464, and a consultant from ALTANET will take your order. The hours during which phone orders can be placed are Monday to Friday, from 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM, and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 02:00 PM. We are closed on Sundays.
2. ORDER CONFIRMATION
After placing the order, either online or by phone, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided by the client. The delivery time for the products is calculated starting from the moment the Client clicks the confirmation link.
3. PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
ALTANET may publish information on the website about products, services, and/or promotions offered by it or by any third party with whom ALTANET has partnership agreements, for a certain period and within the limits of available stock.
The billing of purchased products is done exclusively in RON. In case of payment by credit card, ALTANET will debit the Client’s current account with the amounts representing the cost of the ordered products, after sending the order confirmation to the Client.
In the case of online payments, ALTANET is not / cannot be held responsible for any additional costs incurred by the client, including but not limited to currency conversion fees applied by the issuing bank of the card, if the issuing currency is different from RON. The responsibility for this action lies solely with the client.
4. TRANSPORT
The delivery of the purchased products/services to the Client is carried out through a fast courier service. Deliveries will typically be made within 24 – 48 hours from the date the Client placed the order. In the event that the product is delivered after the above-mentioned deadline, ALTANET will inform the Client via email within 7 working days from the date the Client placed the order. In such case, the Client can cancel the order in writing. If the payment was made before the delivery date of the ordered product(s), the amounts paid will be fully refunded in accordance with the law, within 30 days.
5. RETURN POLICY
We want our products to fully meet your quality requirements. If you are not satisfied with the purchased products, you can contact us for a return within 10 days, and we will refund the amount paid for the products. Romanian legislation stipulates: "The consumer has the right to unilaterally terminate the distance contract within 10 working days, without penalties and without providing any reason."
The only costs that may be borne by the consumer are the direct costs of returning the products.
According to Emergency Ordinance No. 34/2014 regarding consumer rights in distance contracts: The consumer has the right to withdraw from this contract without having to justify the decision and without bearing any costs other than those provided in art. 13 (3) and art. 14 of O.U.G. No. 34/2014, within 14 days starting from the day the consumer receives the physical product.
The return of products will be at the Client's expense, using the same transport service as the one used for the shipment. Products returned by courier should be sent without reimbursement. ALTANET will refund the order amount within a maximum of 30 days from the date the return is received. The refunded amount does not include transport and reimbursement costs. If the transport costs were initially included in the product cost, these will be deducted from the amount refunded to the Client based on the shipping cost receipt.
6. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
The content of the website (texts, product descriptions, technical specifications, images, symbols) is the property of ALTANET and its partners. There may be differences between the image of the product displayed on the website and the physical product itself, especially regarding its color shade.
ALTANET cannot guarantee the availability of all products displayed in stock. Therefore, ALTANET reserves the right not to fulfill an order if the respective product is no longer available. Any complaints must be sent to ALTANET within 24 hours of receiving the products (either by phone or in writing via email), and they will be forwarded for resolution.
If the products cannot be delivered or are damaged during delivery, the customer can request an immediate refund of the amounts paid up to that point, provided that the products are returned according to the terms mentioned above, but no other compensation will be provided.
7. PRIVACY POLICY
ALTANET is the personal data operator registered with the National Authority for the Supervision of Personal Data Processing, with the registration number. ALTANET commits to not transmitting users' personal data to third parties and to using them only for the purpose of contacting its customers and informing them about the functioning of the website and its offers.
ALTANET may notify users of current offers through its newsletter and may send greetings, gift vouchers, or other special messages. Users of the website are not obligated to provide personal data; however, refusal will result in the inability to deliver orders. Any user who has explicitly provided their email address on the ALTANET website may choose to have it removed from our database. According to Law no. 677/2001, the user has the right of access, intervention on the data, the right not to be subjected to an individual decision, and the right to address the courts.
Furthermore, the user has the right to object to the processing of their personal data and to request modifications or deletion of the data. Note: *Any person has the right to oppose, for legitimate reasons, the processing of their data. This right of opposition may be excluded for certain processing activities provided by law (e.g., processing carried out by financial and tax services, police, justice, and social security services). Therefore, this mention does not apply if the processing is mandatory; Any person also has the right to oppose, free of charge and without any justification, the processing of their personal data for direct marketing purposes.

ALTANET certifies that it meets the minimum requirements for the security of personal data. ALTANET uses security methods and technologies, along with policies applied to employees and working procedures, including control and audit, to protect the personal data collected in accordance with the applicable legal provisions.
The servers where the websites are hosted are protected by limited physical and remote access, being installed in technically appropriate and secure environments. We make all commercially reasonable efforts to protect the personal data collected, analyze new technologies in the field, and, when appropriate, apply them to upgrade our security systems.

If any of the above clauses are found to be null or invalid, regardless of the cause, such clause will not affect the validity of the other clauses. By placing an order and purchasing the products, the customer accepts without objection the TERMS AND CONDITIONS of this document, the value of which is the same as a validly concluded contract.
